1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account information: your name and email address when you sign up (including via Google sign-in).
• Your ideas and content: the startup ideas, answers, and inputs you submit to generate your deliverables. This is your work, and we treat it as confidential (see Section 4).

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: how you interact with the Service, such as which phases you generate and features you use. Analytics usage data is only collected if you consent — see Section 5.
• Technical data: browser type, device information, and log data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Provide and operate the Service, including generating your startup deliverables.
• Authenticate your account and maintain your projects.
• Improve, maintain, and secure the Service.
• Communicate with you about your account and the Service.

3. How We Protect Your Information

We take the security of your ideas and data seriously:

• Encryption: your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by default through our infrastructure provider, Google Cloud (Firebase and Firestore).
• Account isolation: your projects and ideas are private to your account. Other users cannot access your data.
• Limited internal access: we access your data only where necessary to operate, maintain, support, or secure the Service — never to exploit or share it.
• Reasonable safeguards: we apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

While we work hard to protect your data, no online service can promise perfect security. We are committed to reasonable, industry-standard protection and to acting responsibly if any issue ever arises.

4. Your Ideas Belong to You

Your ideas are yours. Specifically:

• We do not sell your ideas or personal information.
• We do not share your ideas with other users or third parties, except the service providers strictly needed to run the Service (see Section 5).
• We do not use your ideas or content to train AI models — yours or anyone else's.
• You retain full ownership of everything you create on Topira.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how Topira is used so we can improve it. Analytics are strictly opt-in. No analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set until you choose “Accept analytics” on the banner shown on your first visit.

If you decline

Nothing is loaded and nothing is sent. Declining does not limit your use of the Service in any way. Closing or ignoring the banner is not treated as consent.

What analytics events contain

Events record what happened, never what you wrote. We send event names and a small set of parameters such as the phase number viewed, the plan name, and which part of the site an action started from.

• We do not send your name, email address, or account identifier.
• We do not send your startup idea, prompts, generated content, or project names.
• IP addresses are anonymised, and Google advertising features, ad personalisation, and cross-device signals are disabled.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link, available here and in the site footer. Your preference is stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.

Essential cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences are always active, as the Service cannot function without them. These are not used for tracking.

6. Service Providers

To run the Service, we rely on trusted providers:

• Google Cloud (Firebase, Firestore, Vertex AI) for authentication, storage, and AI processing.
• Google Analytics 4 for usage analytics — only if you have consented (see Section 5).

These providers process data only to provide their services to us and are bound by their own obligations. Your content submitted for AI processing is used solely to generate your deliverables, not to train models.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your information. You can delete individual projects within the Service at any time. You can also delete your entire account yourself from your profile menu — this permanently removes your profile and all your projects, immediately cancels any subscription, and anonymises your community posts so existing discussion threads remain readable. Deletion is irreversible. You may also contact us if you would prefer we do it for you.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete a project or your account, we remove the associated data.

9. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date.
